Do chlamydia sores go away after treatment?
Chlamydia does not typically present with sores. The most common symptom of chlamydia is a burning or itching sensation in the genitals, along with a more frequent urge to urinate or pain when urinating. In many cases, however, chlamydia doesn't cause any symptoms at all. Some people may also experience some discharge from the vagina or penis.
If you have chlamydia, it's important to seek treatment as soon as possible. Treatment typically involves taking a course of antibiotics. If the infection is left untreated, it can cause serious health problems, including pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) in women and infertility in both men and women.
