Chlamydia & Pads: Can You Use Them During Treatment?

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by bacteria. Symptoms of chlamydia may include discharge from the penis or vagina, burning or pain with urination, and lower abdominal pain. Treatment for chlamydia typically involves antibiotics. There is no evidence to suggest that wearing a pad can interfere with the treatment or healing process.
