Cervical & Brachial Plexus: An Overview of the Peripheral Nervous System

Two plexus within the peripheral nervous system are:

- Cervical plexus: formed from the ventral rami of the first four cervical nerves, it supplies the muscles and skin of the neck and the back of the head.

- Brachial plexus: formed from the ventral rami of the fifth to eighth cervical nerves and the first thoracic nerve, it supplies the upper limbs and the shoulder muscles.
