Anterior tibialis muscle
* Origin: Lateral condyle and proximal two-thirds of lateral surface of tibia; deep surface of fascia of leg; intermuscular septa
* Insertion: Base of medial cuneiform and first metatarsal; medial side of navicular
* Action: Dorsiflexion of foot at ankle joint; inversion of foot
* Innervation: Deep peroneal nerve (L4-S1)
