Understanding a Faint Pink Line on a Pregnancy Test: What Does It Mean?
A pregnancy test result with one solid line and a faint, clear pink line could mean that the person taking the test is pregnant, but the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), the hormone produced during pregnancy, is still low and may not have completely saturated the test line.It could also mean that there were technical issues with the test, such as insufficient urine or a damaged test strip.
To confirm pregnancy, it's recommended to repeat the test with a new test kit within a few days or use a digital pregnancy test with a more sensitive detection level of hCG.
If the second test also shows a faint line or any uncertainty persists, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional for further evaluation.
