Pregnancy Test Timing: When to Test for Accurate Results
It is generally recommended to wait at least one week after your missed period before taking a pregnancy test. This will give your body time to produce enough of the pregnancy hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), to be detected in your urine or blood. Taking a pregnancy test too early may give you a false negative result.
If you are still having negative pregnancy tests, but still believe that you might be pregnant, it may be worth contacting your doctor or midwife for further advice, as there may be other factors at play, and they can provide support and guidance.
