Pregnancy Test Timing: When to Get the Most Accurate Result
To calculate the soonest you can take a pregnancy test, you need to count 21 days from the first day of your last period (February 1st). This means that the earliest you can take a pregnancy test would be February 22nd. However, it is important to note that pregnancy tests are most accurate when taken one week after the missed day of your period (i.e. March 1st). If you take a pregnancy test before this date, there is a chance that it could give you a false negative result, even if you are pregnant.
Therefore, it is recommended that you wait until at least February 28th, which is one week after your missed period, before taking a pregnancy test.
