Uneven Testicle Size: Causes, Risks & When to See a Doctor
A slight difference in the size of the testicles is normal. In fact, it's common for one testicle to be larger than the other by up to 1 centimeter. This difference is usually not noticeable and doesn't cause any problems.
However, a significant difference in the size of the testicles could be a sign of an underlying medical condition, such as:
- Testicular cancer
- A varicocele (enlarged veins in the scrotum)
- An infection or inflammation of the testicle
- A hormonal imbalance
If you're concerned about the size of your testicles, it's important to see a doctor for evaluation. They can determine if the difference in size is normal or if it's a sign of a more serious problem.
