Daily UV Index Updates: Protecting Outdoor Workers and Visitors
If you are an employer at a location where people spend a great deal of time outside, such as at a farm, park or beach, you will want to provide alerts and bulletins to alert people to the dangers of UV exposure. To make this alert more effective, yon should update the information daily with projections of that day's UV levels. This will help people better protect themselves when they need to, and still enjoy the outdoors.
Instructions
Create or print out a sheet you can place on a magnetic bulletin board that shows the World Health Organization's UV exposure chart. This chart shows the levels from 1 to +11, with advisory information for each of the levels.
Check the UV levels posted by weather agencies for that day.
Place a small bright magnet on the chart where the level is projected to be for that day. Change this on a daily basis.
