Typhoid Blood Test vs. hCG: What You Need to Know
A blood test for typhoid, known as the Widal test, specifically checks for the presence of antibodies against the Salmonella typhi bacterium, the causative agent of typhoid fever. On the other hand, a human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) test detects hCG, a hormone produced during pregnancy. Therefore, a blood test for typhoid will not pick up hCG.Hodgkin Lymphoma - Related Articles
