Spa Treatments After Cervical Biopsy: What You Need to Know
It's generally not recommended to go to a spa two days after a cervical biopsy. Cervical biopsies can cause some amount of discomfort, bleeding and discharge for a few days after the procedure, so it's best to avoid any activities that involve prolonged sitting or lying down in water. It's important to follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider and give yourself sufficient time to heal. For safety, it's advisable to avoid saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools until your cervix has fully healed, typically around two to four weeks after the biopsy.Cervical Cancer - Related Articles
