Who invented cervical cancer vaccine?
The first effective cervical cancer vaccine was developed by a team led by Dr. Ian Frazer and Dr. Jian Zhou at the University of Queensland in Australia. These researchers identified and characterized the human papillomavirus (HPV) proteins responsible for causing cervical cancer. Using this knowledge, they developed a vaccine that targets and prevents infection by these specific HPV strains, known as the human papillomavirus vaccine.Cervical Cancer - Related Articles
