Bee Sting Allergy & Honey: What You Need to Know
An allergy to bee stings does not necessarily mean an allergy to honey. Honey is produced by bees but does not contain the proteins that trigger allergic reactions in most people who are allergic to bee stings. However, some people who are highly allergic to bee stings may also experience an allergic reaction to honey. If you have a bee sting allergy, it's important to avoid bee stings and talk to your doctor about whether you should avoid honey as well.Bee Stings - Related Articles
