* Parotid glands: These are two small glands located on either side of the face, just below the ears. They produce saliva, which helps to break down food in the mouth.* Lymph nodes: These are small, bean-shaped structures that are part of the body's immune system. They help to filter out bacteria, viruses, and other foreign substances from the body. There are several lymph nodes located on the head and neck, and two of them are located on the left side of the head, just behind the ear.
