Chief Information Security Officer (CISO): Definition & Responsibilities

CISO stands for Chief Information Security Officer. It is a senior-level position responsible for the overall security of an organization's information systems. The CISO is responsible for developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures; overseeing the security of the organization's network, systems, and applications; and responding to security incidents.
