CIN: Understanding Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia - Causes, Symptoms & Treatment

CIN stands for Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia. It refers to a condition in which abnormal cells are present in the lining of the cervix. CIN is often a precursor to cervical cancer, but not all cases of CIN will progress to cancer. It can be detected through a Pap smear and is usually treated with surgery or laser therapy.
