Nonsyncope nonvertigo is an uncommon vestibular syndrome consisting of episodes of intense fear, pallor, diaphoresis, nausea, retching, and abdominal sensations, not infrequently leading to vomiting, diarrhea, syncope or near-syncope and even convulsions, all in the absence of true dizziness or syncope, in other words, nonepileptic attacks similar to panic attacks
