Challenging the LVN Exam: Requirements for CNAs - Board Exam Prep
To challenge the LVN board exam as a CNA, you will need to meet the following requirements:
1. Education: Have completed an accredited CNA program.
2. Experience: Have worked as a CNA for at least 2,000 hours in the past two years.
3. Training: Have completed an LVN training program that meets the requirements of the state in which you are applying.
4. Application: Submit an application to the state board of nursing in which you are applying.
5. Fees: Pay the required fees for the application and exam.
Once you have met all of the requirements, you will be eligible to take the LVN board exam. The exam will test your knowledge of nursing theory and practice, as well as your clinical skills. If you pass the exam, you will be licensed to practice as an LVN in the state in which you applied.
