Natural Solutions for Skin Tags: A Guide to Tea Tree Oil & More
A skin tag is a small growth of skin that can often be found on the neck, face and under the breasts (this occurs mostly in women). The skin tag, also known as acrochordons, is usually long and tubular and often is only a few shades darker than your natural skin color. Most skin tags are benign although malignant ones do occur. While most skin tags do not pose a serious medical threat, they can be embarrassing to the person who suffers from them.Things You'll Need
- Face soap
- Hand towel
- Tea Tree oil
- Cotton ball
Instructions
Wash the skin tag and the surrounding area with soap and water. Dry with your hand towel.
Wet your cotton ball and squeeze out any excess moisture.
Add 3 drops of tea tree oil directly to your wet cotton ball.
Wipe the cotton ball on the skin tag and the surrounding skin. Repeat three times a day until the skin tag sloughs off. The tea tree oil will help to dry out the skin tag.
