Verify a Chiropractor's License: A Step-by-Step Guide
A chiropractor is a professional who works in the health care industry. Chiropractors manipulate the spine to alleviate pain and pressure on other body joints. They also maintain a "holistic" philosophy, which is treating the patient as a whole and not simply fixing specific body parts. States license chiropractors.
Instructions
Go to the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners website.
Click on "Links" on the left.
Browse the list of state boards for your state and click on your link. It will take you to their licensee search page.
Look for and click on a link that says "License Verification" or "Licensee Search" or "Verify Licensed Provider." Every state database has a different website.
Type the first and last name of the chiropractor whose license you wish to verify. You might have to choose the profession from a drop-down menu. Hit "Search" to see the results and the status of the license.
