- Disposable plastic pipettes
- 2 oz. glass dish
- 3 percent distillation essential oils (assorted)
- 1 oz. rubbing alcohol
- 2 oz. perfume bottle
Instructions
Create a blend of 3 percent dilution oils in a 2 oz. mixing dish. A total of a half ounce of oil is needed. You can use one type of oil scent, or you can create a blend of as many as you want. Use disposable plastic pipettes for each new scent you use.
For example 1/4 oz each of rose and carnation, creates a flirty and feminine fragrance.
Add the rubbing alcohol to the mixing dish of blended oil. Stir the solution with a pipette. The alcohol thins out the oil base of the fragrance, and suspends the scent in it. Most commercial perfumes contain alcohol.
Suck up the homemade perfume with another plastic pipette. Squeeze the liquid into a perfume bottle or vial of your choice.Secure the lid on the bottle or vial and shake vigorously for a minute, to further mix the perfume. It is ready to be used immediately.
