Understanding Lipomas: Symptoms, Causes, and When to See a Doctor
A lipoma is a small, fatty lump that can grow anywhere in the body. Lipomas are usually soft, movable, and painless. They are not cancerous and do not usually require treatment. However, if a lipoma is large or in a location that is causing pain or discomfort, it can be removed surgically.
