Where is your radial pulse located?
The radial pulse is located on the anterior (front) aspect of the wrist, just lateral (on the thumb side) to the tendon of the flexor carpi radialis muscle. It can be found by placing your index and middle fingers (not your thumb) on the inside of the wrist, about an inch below the base of the thumb. You should feel the pulse throbbing just beneath your fingers.Open Heart Surgery - Related Articles
