Is MRT the same as MRI?
MRT is an abbreviation for Magnetic Resonance Tomography, while MRI stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Both are medical imaging techniques that use magnetic fields and radio waves to create images of the inside of the body.
MRT and MRI are often used interchangeably, but there is a slight difference between the two. MRT is the original name for the technology, while MRI is the more modern term that is now widely used. MRT is still used in some parts of the world, but MRI is the more prevalent term.
