Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: Understanding Mild Symptoms & Progression
Mild carpal tunnel syndrome does not mean you have carpal tunnel syndrome but it does mean that you are starting to experience symptoms. Mild symptoms can be relieved by taking breaks, ice, and anti-inflammatory medications.
If left untreated, mild carpal tunnel syndrome can progressively get worse and cause more intensive pain, numbness, and tingling. More severe symptoms may require more invasive treatments such as surgery.
So while very mild carpal tunnel syndrome may not mean you have it, it is important to take measures to prevent it from getting worse.
