There is no CPT code specifically for suture repair of lacerated aorta with shunt bypass. However, you could use:- 33881: Repair of laceration or rupture of thoracic or abdominal aorta or other major thoracic or abdominal blood vessel.
- 36831: Insertion of central venous catheter for temporary circulatory support, requiring cutdown and/or surgical exposure of vessel (eg, for cardiopulmonary bypass, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, or ventricular assist device).
