Implantation Bleeding: Timing & What to Expect
It's unlikely to have implantation bleeding eight days before your period. Implantation bleeding usually occurs 10 to 14 days after ovulation. This means that if you have an average 28-day menstrual cycle, implantation bleeding would occur around days 24 to 28.
However, if you have a shorter menstrual cycle, it's possible to experience implantation bleeding closer to your period. It is important to note that implantation bleeding is not a common sign of pregnancy, occurring in only about 25% of cases. If you are experiencing bleeding that is abnormal for you, it's always a good idea to see your healthcare provider to rule out any underlying medical conditions.
