Infraclavicular approach:
An incision is made in the natural skin fold just below the clavicle (breastbone).
The implant pump is then inserted into this incision.
Abdominal approach
An incision is made in the area between the navel (belly button) and the rib cage, and the pump is inserted underneath the rectus abdominis muscle.
Axillary approach
A small incision is made in the armpit, and the pump is inserted through the incision and placed under a muscle in the upper arm.
