Facility Security: Responding to Unauthorized Entry Attempts
Follow these steps:
1. Immediately call the police.
2. While waiting for the police, try to keep the person outside the facility. You can do this by:
* Locking the doors and windows.
* Putting up a barricade.
* Using a fire extinguisher or other object to deter the person.
3. If the person does manage to get inside, try to stay calm and avoid any physical confrontation. You can:
* Move away from the person and try to find a safe place to hide.
* Call the police again and tell them that the person is now inside.
4. Do not attempt to apprehend the person yourself. This is a job for the police.
