Understanding Auditory Hallucinations in Psychosis: What to Know
During a psychotic episode, auditory hallucinations are perceived as coming from outside the person's head. These voices may sound like comments about people's actions, commands to do something, or whispered conversations between two beings. These hallucinatory voices are heard as if the person is genuinely hearing external sound. It is an experience that cannot be completely replicated for someone without psychosis.Schizophrenia - Related Articles
