What is the cause of compensatory pause after an extrasystole?
Compensatory pause after an extrasystole occurs because the atria are refractory and unable to respond to an impulse from the sinoatrial (SA) node immediately following the extrasystole. This delay allows the SA node to discharge spontaneously, which results in a normal QRS complex and a compensatory pause.Insomnia - Related Articles
