NSTP Implementation: Who is Required to Participate?
NSTP Implementation Covers:- All students enrolled in any baccalaureate and two year technical-vocational and associate courses, all students enrolled in the ROTC program of any school system: and all students enrolled in at least two training courses in entrepreneurship or cooperativism.
- All higher and technical-vocational educational institutions, public and private, shall offer NSTP courses to their students.
Exceptions:
- Students who have completed ROTC program.
- Students who have completed the Basic Citizens Military Training (BCMT) at the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA), and the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA).
- Foreign students.
- Students who are physically, mentally, or psychologically unfit to undergo training, as certified by a competent medical authority.
- Students who have been convicted by final judgement of a crime involving moral turpitude.
