Veterinary Pathologist Numbers in the US: 2023 Update

As of 2023, there were approximately 1,500 certified veterinary pathologists in the United States, according to the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP). This number includes individuals who are board-certified by the ACVP as well as those who have completed residency training but are not yet board-certified.
