Jandy AquaPure 1400 Service Code 180: Low Flow Troubleshooting
Service code 180 on a Jandy AquaPure 1400 salt chlorinator indicates a low flow condition. This means that the water flow rate through the chlorinator is not sufficient for proper operation.
There are a few possible causes for this:
* Check the filter. A dirty filter can restrict water flow to the chlorinator. Clean or replace the filter as needed.
* Check the pump. Make sure the pump is running at the correct speed. If the pump is not running at full speed, it will not be able to provide enough water flow to the chlorinator.
* Check the chlorinator bypass valve. Make sure the bypass valve is fully open. If the bypass valve is closed or partially closed, it will restrict water flow to the chlorinator.
* Check the chlorinator cell. If the chlorinator cell is dirty or obstructed, it can restrict water flow. Clean or replace the cell as needed.
If you have checked all of these things and the chlorinator is still displaying service code 180, there may be a problem with the chlorinator itself. Contact Jandy for assistance.
