Instructions for a Trifold 10-Foot Ramp
The E-Z Access Trifold 10 is a portable 10-foot ramp designed for use with wheelchairs and portable scooters. The ramp provides access over stairs, into vehicles and up to raised landings. Constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum with an 800-lb. load capacity, the Trifold 10 can be carried as a single unit or broken down into two units for easier transport. It features a skid-resistant surface and self-adjusting bottom transition plates. The Trifold 10's usable dimensions are 10 feet by 29 1/2 inches. When folded, it is 60 inches long, 15 inches wide and 11 1/2 inches thick. It weighs 60 lbs.
Instructions
Place the folded ramp on the ground its full extended length, away from the steps or vehicle. The ramp lip labeled "Top" should point toward the steps or vehicle.
Stand the ramp upright with the hinged edge on the right. Unfold the first top half of the ramp toward the vehicle or step landing, then place the lip labeled "Top" securely on the landing.
Unfold the second top half of the ramp. Both halves of the ramp will now be completely extended with each half folded facedown on the other.
Fold open the complete ramp, exposing the non-skid climbing surface. Re-center the top lip on the landing or vehicle.
Separate the ramp sections for a wider track, if desired, by pulling the removable hinge pins from the two ramp connecting hinges.
