Hook the top and bottom latches on the bottom of the head spring onto the mounting rivets on the top of the head spring.
Straighten the bed frame completely.
Extend the pull tube from the foot spring until the spring button locks into place.
Connect the top of the pull to the lift arm of the head spring, using the hitch pin to hold it in place.
Lay the bed frame flat on the floor.
Lift the head spring from the frame to a 90-degree angle and connect the hooks at the bottom of the head spring to the top of the foot spring.
Insert the casters into both the headboard and the footboard.
Hold the headboard with the corner plates facing toward the bed and lift the head of the frame, locking the corner rivets in place.
Repeat the process with the footboard.
Assemble the drive shaft by pushing the inner shaft into the larger outer shaft until the spring button locks into the third hole in the outer shaft.
Place one end of the drive shaft on the headboard gear box and do the same with the other end on the motor gear box on the foot spring.
Turn the coupler on the bottom of the foot spring until it releases into the unlock position, and align it with the gear box of the footboard.
Lay the mattress on top of the bed frame.
Plug in the power cable into a standard 120V outlet.
