Puberty in Girls: When Does It Typically Start? (8 Years Old)
It's not uncommon for girls to begin puberty between the ages of 8 and 13, although the average age is closer to 12. However, there is a wide range of normal when it comes to puberty, and some girls may start as early as 7 or as late as 16. Therefore, 8 years old is not considered too young for girls to start puberty.
