Healthy Father-Son Bonds: The Harm of Parental Abuse
No, a father cannot bond with his son by verbally and emotionally abusing the mother of the son. In fact, this type of behaviour can have a devastating impact on the child's development and relationship with both parents.
When a father verbally and emotionally abuses the mother, the child is likely to feel scared, angry, and confused. They may also develop low self-esteem and a negative view of themselves and others. In addition, they may learn that it is acceptable to use violence and aggression to solve problems.
This type of behaviour can also damage the relationship between the father and son. The son may feel resentful and angry towards his father, and may eventually reject him.
If you are concerned about your child's safety or well-being, please seek help from a professional.
