Do alcoholics talk aloud to themselves?

Alcohol can affect a person's behavior and mental state, and some people who are intoxicated may engage in behaviors such as talking to themselves aloud. However, not all alcoholics necessarily exhibit this behavior and it is not exclusive to alcoholics. Intoxication from substance like alcohol or drugs can temporarily alter perceptions, thoughts, actions or speech
