Pregnancy After Your Period: What You Need to Know
It's possible, but not very likely.
Ovulation usually occurs about 14 days before the start of the next period. If a woman has a short menstrual cycle, it's possible that she could ovulate sooner, and therefore be able to get pregnant sooner after her period ends.
However, it is more common for ovulation to occur later in the menstrual cycle. In general, it's best to wait until at least 7 days or a bit longer after the end of a period to ensure avoiding potential pregnancy.
