Your Body
* Your body is starting to produce more progesterone, which helps to maintain the pregnancy.
* Your breasts may be starting to feel tender and swollen.
* You may be feeling tired and nauseated.
* You may be experiencing frequent urination.
* Your appetite may change.
* Your skin may start to look more radiant.
What to Expect
* You may want to schedule a prenatal checkup with your doctor or midwife.
* Start taking prenatal vitamins.
* Avoid alcohol, tobacco, and recreational drugs.
* Eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
* Get plenty of rest.
* Drink plenty of fluids.
* Avoid contact with people who are sick.
* Keep track of your symptoms and report any unusual symptoms to your doctor or midwife.
