Baby Dropping in Subsequent Pregnancies: Timing & Signs
On an average, with subsequent pregnancies, the baby drops around two to three weeks before labor begins. This means that the fetus descends into the mother's pelvis. For some women, the baby drops as late as a few days or even hours before labor starts. It's important for pregnant women to be aware of the signs of impending labor, such as increased urination, pressure changes, and the feeling of the baby dropping lower. If you are concerned about when the baby will drop, be sure to talk to your doctor.
