There is no scientific evidence that suggests that marijuana use can cause false positive pregnancy test results. Pregnancy tests detect the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), a hormone produced by the developing embryo. Marijuana does not contain hCG or any other substances that can interfere with pregnancy test results.
