Becoming a Pediatrician: Education & Training Requirements
The path to becoming a pediatrician typically requires 11 to 15 years of education and training:- Four years of undergraduate college.
- Four years of medical school.
- Three to seven years of residency training.
Some pediatricians may also choose to complete a fellowship, which can add an additional one to three years of training.
