AP Babygram: Understanding Antenatal Pelvimetry X-rays
AP babygram refers to an antenatal profile (AP) X-ray of a pregnant woman's abdomen, also known as an X-ray pelvimetry. It is a specialised X-ray examination used to assess the size and position of the fetus, as well as the dimensions of the mother's pelvis, in preparation for childbirth.
The term "babygram" is sometimes informally used to refer to the resulting X-ray image or report.
