Obstetricians: Who Delivers and Cares for Newborns?
The kind of doctors that deals with babies, delivers them and then cleans them up are called Obstetricians. Obstetricians are doctors who specialize in pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. They are trained to provide care for women during all stages of pregnancy, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Obstetricians also perform newborn deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
