Launch a Successful Fitness Support Group: A Step-by-Step Guide
Finding the motivation to stick to a workout program can be very difficult. One way to combat the tendency to slack off is to assemble a group of friends who are also taking the workout challenge. You and your friends can form a fitness support group to help keep each other motivated and reaching your health goals.Things You'll Need

Instructions
Speak to a group of friends and let them know you are interested in forming a fitness support group. Send emails, text messages, make phone calls and post on public forums such as Twitter, Facebook and Meetup.
Decide how your group will support one another. You can form teams to work out with each other or make a plan to attend a group fitness class together. The key is to work out with a buddy or group to hold each other accountable.
Set goals for yourself and your group. Write a plan of action to reach those goals. For example, if you want to lose 10 lbs. in 60 days, make an exercise plan for your group that will keep you focused on that goal with regular workouts.
Support and encourage one another. One way to do this may be to create a reward system. If you have followed your exercise plan for the week, treat yourself to a manicure. Keep the rewards realistic and make each reward something that makes you feel good, but avoid using unhealthy food as a reward.
Change your exercise program every 21 days to keep your body in shock and to prevent boredom.
