Oral Treatments for Cellulite: Diet & Nutrition
Cellulite is fatty tissue underneath the skin. We all have fat under the skin, but as the skin loses its elasticity, that fat is more likely to show through as lumpy, bumpy patches known as cellulite. There are ways to treat cellulite orally, especially through diet, to try to reduce its appearance.
Instructions
Eat plenty of fish, especially salmon. Fish oil is helpful in building and maintaining skin elasticity, which can help deter the appearance of cellulite.
Drink plenty of water. Water plumps the skin, which leaves it hydrated and moist. This helps to give skin a smoother, more supple appearance.
Take a supplement that contains glucosamine to maintain skin tone and plumpness.
Eat plenty of protein. Protein is the building block of strong skin tissue and helps maintain elasticity.
Eat large amounts of fruits and vegetables to help eliminate fat stores, which contribute to cellulite, and to ensure you have the right amount of amino acids necessary to maintain protein stores.
