How to Tighten Your Abs
Millions of Americans want to look good in their skin this year. Many will begin an exercise program in order to lose weight. Tightening and toning those abs are high on the list, but achieving that goal can be very difficult. Here are a few exercises to help tone those abs.
Instructions
Do crunches. When doing your crunches, place a small ball underneath the small of your back. Using a ball underneath the back helps to give you more range when you pull your torso up.
Do a few knee lifts while holding on to a chin up bar. Lifting the knees to the chest can be a very effective move. This exercise really targets those lower abdominal muscles.
Lay on an exercise bench and let your head drop lower than your waistline as you do situps. This abdominal exercise will make your ab muscles burn.
