Calculate Your Healthy Weight: A Simple Guide for Men
With so many experts on food, weight and nutrition just waiting to give you their opinion on how much you should weigh, it can be difficult to find out an exact range of what your weight should be. Fortunately, there is a way you can figure out your target weight for yourself.
Instructions
Measure your height and convert it to inches.
Determine a base point to start figuring your ideal weight. For example, the calculator on HealthStatus.com suggests an ideal weight of 114 pounds for a man who is 5 feet tall.
Add or subtract four or five pounds for every inch you are taller or shorter than the base height. For example, if you are 5'10', your ideal weight would be between 154 and 164 pounds based on the base height and weight.
